Access to Mt. Hiko

Mt. Hiko (Hikosan) is on the border between Soeda-machi Tagawa-gun, Fukuoka prefecture and Yamakuni-machi Nakatsu-shi, Oita prefecture. It is also located in Yaba-Hita-Hikosan Quasi-National Park. Mt. Hiko is the 1200-m height mountain, which is one of a hundred views of Japan and of two hundred famous mountains in Japan. It is one of three Hiko mountains in Japan including Mt. Yahiko in Nigata and Mt. Seppiko in Hyogo.
